A self-identified plant nerd since childhood, Josh grew up gardening in New York state. He moved to San Francisco about 30 years ago and continued his gardening in the Bay Area. By working with a number of garden designers and landscape architects, Josh was able to learn about the unique qualities of the Bay Area climate and soils that lend themselves to successful gardens.

Josh enjoys the planning process, talking with clients to find out what they most want from their garden and how it will enhance their lives. As a plant geek and design aficionado, he seeks out just the right plants to create a mood or make a statement, while making sure that they will thrive in their new home.
