We’re Plant People
We enjoy everything about plants - propagating them, growing them, and planting them in clients’ gardens! As horticulturalists, we are constantly testing new plants in different soils and climate types to see which plants do best under different conditions. This means that we are able to select from a wide variety of plants that we know will thrive in the conditions that are unique to your garden. We even grow plants that are unavailable elsewhere, and even rare or endangered in their native habitat, specifically for our clients’ gardens.
Whatever types of plants are needed to make your dream garden come to life - flowers, shrubs or trees - we have an extensive variety of water-wise plants to give it just the right style. It might be a serene and private quiet space to escape from the world, a gorgeous street front garden to enhance your property and impress the neighbors, a stunning landscape to view from your office window or a space to entertain in, with seating areas and eating areas for all.
We also enjoy designing environments that benefit the people who use them and the communities in which they reside. This means considering ways to make gardens more eco-friendly by minimizing water, plastics and chemical use.
We favor drought tolerant plants from around the world as well as California native plants. We create xeriscapes (xeric planting designs) that thrive in the San Francisco Bay Area, where drought tolerant gardening is so important. These gardens enrich our clients’ lives by providing them with the garden of their dreams. They also promote biodiversity by providing habitat for useful pollinators like bees, as well as butterflies, birds and other wildlife, and creating attractive public spaces along streets.
